Your First Step inside the industry

with support every step of the way

Knowing your role and having the skills is one thing. Getting through the door is another. Career Break-In places you in a real internship — in the UK or internationally — in the exact role you've trained for.

Real work | Real companies | Real support

Internships run on a full-time or part-time basis and typically last one to three months, depending on your situation and the host company.

Throughout the internship, your mentor remains your go-to point of contact — someone you can turn to for advice, guidance, or a second opinion on anything that comes up. Adventures.AI supports you alongside them.

At the end of the internship, we gather feedback from you, your mentor, and the host company. This gives everyone — including you — an honest picture of your progress, your strengths, and your areas for development. That feedback shapes your next steps: whether that's a second internship or applying for your first permanent role.

* These internships are unpaid. They are designed to give you genuine industry exposure, honest working experience, and a meaningful entry point into Finance or Technology — before you go for paid employment.

All That Awaits You, Once You Step In.

A real internship in your chosen Finance or Technology role

You'll step into a genuine working environment in the exact role you've trained for — not a simulated exercise or an entry-level errand role. This is real work, with real responsibilities, in a real company.

Placement in the UK or internationally

We arrange internship placements both within the UK and across other countries, giving you the flexibility to gain experience in the market that suits your goals and circumstances best.

Full-time or part-time, 1–3 months

Whether you're available full-time or need a part-time arrangement, we work around your situation. Internships typically run between one and three months, depending on you and the host company.

Ongoing mentor support throughout

Your mentor doesn't disappear once the internship begins. They remain your go-to person for advice, guidance, and support for anything that comes up during your placement.

Structured post-internship feedback to guide your next move

When your internship ends, we gather feedback from you, your mentor, and the host company to give you a clear and honest picture of your progress. That feedback becomes the foundation for your next step — whether that's a second internship or your first permanent role.
